Ronan MacSweeney

Consultant

Ronan attended National University of Ireland, Galway where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree and an honours LLB Degree.

He subsequently attended the University of Edinburgh where he was awarded a first class honours Masters in Law.

Ronan is dual qualified in Ireland and New South Wales, Australia, where he has also worked for a period.

He is a former runner-up in the Irish Times debating competition and a convenor of the same event.

Ronan trained and worked for several years with a top-six Dublin law firm and qualified as a solicitor in 1999.

He is currently a consultant with MacSweeney & Company and has significant expertise in the areas of construction, projects and public law. He has advised some of Ireland’s largest construction companies, most notably, the National Roads Authority.
