MacSweeney & Company was established in 2003, when I saw the need for a full service law firm in Galway, with a commitment to professional, business-like legal solutions for both private and business clients.

The twin cornerstones of our success are our dedication to the efficient provision of quality legal services and the maintenance of close, friendly and uncomplicated relationships with our clients. We endeavour to ensure that our clients can justifiably feel that their particular legal needs will be dealt with professionally and granted the necessary priority. Our pursuit of these two principles has seen us grow steadily.

One of our strengths at MacSweeney & Company is our people. We have focused on hiring lawyers with excellent academic backgrounds and broad ranging professional experience. In addition, many of our lawyers have trained or worked with top tier Dublin law firms. In that way, we have grown into a law firm that can effectively service the legal needs of our clients across all a broad spectrum of practice areas.

In early 2008, we moved to new purpose built offices at Lismoyle House, Merchants Road, Galway. Now occupying office space of over twice the size of our previous premises, we have the ideal location and resources to continue the next phase of our growth.
