Cathriona attended the National University of Ireland, Galway where she obtained a B.A. (Honours) degree and a LL.B ( Honours) Degree.
She also studied at the Law School of the Law Society of Ireland and completed her traineeship with another Galway based law firm. Cathriona was admitted to the roll of Solicitors in 2001.
Cathriona holds a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland.
She has practiced with law firms in Kilkenny and Galway before joining MacSweeney & Company in 2007, and specialises in commercial and residential property, employment and family law.
