Shane MacSweeney

Managing partner Shane MacSweeney, established the firm in order to cater for the increasing demand for sophisticated service-driven legal services in the West of Ireland. Shane qualified as a solicitor over a decade ago, having studied at University College Cork, University College Dublin and the Law Society of Ireland. Before establishing MacSweeney & Company, Shane was a partner in one of Dublin’s top-six law firms. He has been involved in some of Ireland’s most high profile cases over the past decade and has serviced the legal requirements of some of Ireland's largest organisations.

Shane is a course lecturer at the Law School of the Law Society of Ireland and regularly speaks at conferences and seminars on the areas of civil litigation, employment law, health & safety, insurance and licensing law. Shane is the legal commentator for a local newspaper in Galway.
